I never planned to be away this long.....but does anyone ever plan such a thing? Since I last posted there have been many changes around here, but more on that another time. Today I'm sharing this picture of my girl in her fabulous lace dress that she sewed from a thrifted vintage tablecloth.
What a beauty, eh?
One thing that hasn't changed is that I'm still loving my needlework. I made this sweet little
set for the gift stash. I had a pattern for the sweater but wound up winging the bonnet...I am
pretty pleased with it!
Just finished this little crocheted dress. I looked all over for a pattern for the little pants but couldn't find one, so I winged those too.
Here's an apron I made for a good friend. She loved it and I'm thinking I'd like
a similar one for myself. Years ago I was on an apron-making kick for Christmas gifts. Out
of all the aprons I made, not one ended up staying with me. This may be the year!!
I hope you are all doing well. If you read this post, please leave a comment. In the near future
I plan to revamp "Homeacre" and would love to add some new blogs to my list.

Pretty dress out of a table cloth! COOL!
Your little knitted outfits are so precious and the apron is pretty too and looks like a sundress.
warmly,

HOLY COW -- it doesn't seem like you were gone that long -- where does the time go? Your daughter is beautiful -- and what a gorgeous dress she's wearing. And, of course, I love the baby knits (crochets LOL)-- as always!
