Greetings from snowy Michigan. We woke up to a winter scene....not a lot of snow, but enough to get one in the mood for Christmas. Sadly, I didn't snap a picture before dark...you'll just have to take my word for it : )
I spent all morning and afternoon over at my mom's doing lots of things around the house and getting her ready for church tomorrow. Boy, the time flies when I'm over there. She loves the company and I love her, so I guess that works. When I came home, this is what I did next....
Some peppermint tea and red sparkly nail polish for the toesies. I like being a girl.
Short post tonight....I'm off to the Advent Tea at church. Good friends, a good message and more tea! What more could a girl ask for? Hope you are warm and cozy tonight.

A Cup of Tea
When the world is all at odds
And the mind is all at sea
Then cease the useless tedium
And brew a cup of tea.
There is magic in it's fragrance,
There is solace in its taste;
And the laden moments vanish
Somehow into space.
And the world becomes a lovely thing!
There's beauty as you'll see;
All because you briefly stopped
To bew a cup of tea.

You sound very content my friend...
Blessing to you,
Love...

I sincerely agree with Mr Gladstone! I'm glad to hear you love tea also!
When you’re feeling sad & blue
And have no clue what to do
Sit down and have a cup of tea
And a hug or two or maybe three
Feel those troubles melt away
And start you on a better day.

Amy, enjoy your tea and advent eve. Have a great Sunday and you are such a good daughter to you momma. Take care.
Hi Amy,
I'll take you at your word about the snow..heehee...since I live so close.
I am enjoying a cup of Lady Grey tea while I read some blogs. I hope your evening went well. Hugs.
Dear Amy,
Love the sparkly nail polish, enjoy the advent tea, sounds lovely in your part of the world.

I have never developed a taste for hot tea. It comes from living in the south, I think. Now, iced tea is a different story...
Stay warm!
Tracy, I didn't care too much for hot tea either, until I tried Cream Earl Grey from the English Tea Store.com site. It is AMAZING! I think you would quickly develop a taste for hot tea.
Red toes and candy cane tea. . I mean does it get any better than that?
Blessings,
Sher
Peppermint tea and red sparkly nail polish.....how perfect for this time of year. I'll have to try it!
