Trying to get "back in the saddle," here
at the Home Acre.

While I was away, needlework has been very therapeutic for me.
Pink booties for a baby shower....

Black booties for my cousin Janet, who will gift them to a friend.

This sweet book will also go to the baby shower.  I just love
Peter and his friends. This is the movie for you if you're a
Beatrix Potter fan, like me.
Also while I was away, I tagged along with the hubby to Utah.
The mountains are so beautiful.
Brace yourselves, but I attempted to make a short snippet
video of our drive into Park City, Utah where the Sundance
Film Festival is held. A videographer I am NOT.
The background music was from the iPod....it unintentionally added to
my movie.  Or detracts from it, depending on your taste in music, I guess :)

Spring cannot come quickly enough for me. I can't wait to get outside.
There may be some other changes around the 'Acre......I'll keep you "posted."
In the meantime, I'm going back to work on my UFOs while watching this.
I'm positively hooked.

I've tagged along many times with my husband to Utah, so that video drive is very familiar to me. It's a pretty place to visit.

My husband watched Miss Potter with me one evening and even he enjoyed it.

The booties are so sweet!

I'm so happy to see your post -- I've been wondering how you were doing. The little booties are adorable! I'll be making that drive in about 6 weeks and I'm very excited!

Hi Amy -- my e-mail's not working, but you asked about my serger thread. Most of the time I use black or white, but I do change if I'm making clothing where I want the thread to match. I only have red, pink, gray and navy in cones. For other colors, I just use smaller spools. Hope that helps!
