Pictureless Post

Just wanted to stop by here....oh, how I've missed my blog.

After a week's stay in the hospital, my mom comes home tomorrow on hospice.
I am weary, sad and nervous....but ever so glad to have my mom come home.

My house is a wreck, so I plan to spend the next few days straightening up
and so forth. I'll keep you "posted."

P.S. Many thanks to my girl.....she gave me quite the pep talk tonight.
She's gonna make a great mom.

:)

Oh Amy -- I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I hope things will get easier for the two of you. Aren't our kids amazing? Mine give me pep talks too and I often wonder how I got so lucky!

I am sorry to hear that your mom's health continues to decline. Hopefully being at home will be easier than being at the hospital. Caring for a parent like you are doing takes a toll both physically and emotionally. I'm glad your daughter is there to give you the support you need. What a blessing!

Amy, so glad to see you post something again. Sorry your Mom isn't doing well....will certainly pray for her and for you. Sounds like you have a gem of a daughter to support you, though! Enjoy yourself getting your home back in order, and since your home means so much to you I'm sure you'll feel better when you're able to get some of it done and putter around some. :)

Love and Hugs,
Elaine

Hello Dear Amy,

I was in your place not many years back. I will certainly keep your dear sweet mother and family in my prayers.

What a sweet and caring daughter you have. Daughters are certainly a good thing:o)
