Love and Laundry

"We should all do what, in the long run, gives us joy...even if it is only picking grapes or sorting the laundry."
~E. B. White

Is there anything better than all those fresh, clean clothes and linens...not to mention a nice, tidy laundry room? I love doing laundry and, though it may sound silly, it's been the source of many happy moments for me.

My mom's been in the hospital for the last 11 days.......she has been very seriously ill and now has pneumonia. She is finally on the mend, I think, and might even be able to come home in a few days. Keep her in your prayers and say a little one for me....some days I really struggle.

I want to say a special thanks to three of my favorite people who have really been there for me the last couple of weeks.

Emily, thanks for your support and help with Grandma. You are my girl :)
Sherry, thanks so much for the delicious dinner....Mexican food is a big hit around here.
And my Susie, thanks for the love and support from so many miles away.

I love you all.

"Love never fails."
1 Corinthians 13:8

I will say a prayer for your mom and you, also send good vibes. I love doing the wash as well and hanging clothes is my cup of tea. I agree with you about it being fun, for me it's tops. Have a great day and my thoughts are with you. Take care.

I will keep you in my prayers Amy. I remember days like this with my mother. So good you enjoy doing laundry because we always have some to do. Take care!

Amy, I know how taxing it can be in a situation like yours because I have been there myself. I will certainly be thinking about and praying for you.
I totally agree....fresh clean laundry, spic and span laundry room.....it's the best feeling ever. Not everyone understands this, but obviously you do! LOL

I am glad to hear your mom is doing better. I am in MN with my mom now. It is good to spend time with her, at 86 we just don't know when the last visit will be. Make sure to take care of yourself and remember I think of you often.
